Miller - Rose J. (Truscello), 84, Johnstown, went to heaven surrounded by her loving children Jan. 22, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center, where she was a long time volunteer.

Born Jan. 21, 1928, in Smith Alley, Johnstown, daughter of Frank and Bernadette (Scoppoletti) Truscello.  Preceded in death by parents; loving husband, Robert Miller; brothers, Anthony, George, Rocco and John Truscello; and sisters, Mary Simon and Josephine Sichok.  Survived by children, Robert, married to Pamela (Arcurio); Rodney, married to Karen (Henze); Garry, married to Jacqueline (McGuirk); and Glenda Miller-Rager, wife of Richard. Also survived by eight grandchildren, their spouses and three great-grandchildren.

Rose retired from the Johnstown School District. Active member and volunteer at St. Claire of Assisi Catholic Church.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed baking her famous cookies for her family and friends.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Friends received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd.  Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Claire of Assisi Catholic Church, Father Dennis Kurdziel.  Interment, St. Anthony Cemetery.
