DiGuardi, Betty of Upper Yoder 88 died Jan. 1, 2012 in Johnstown. 

Born on August 12, 1923 in Johnstown.  She was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Rice) Billick.  Survived by loving husband of 70 years Samuel J. and these children, John "Sash" married to Michele (Ed), Victoria DiGuardi, Michele married to Rick DelSignore, Dianna DiGuardi (Brian Salas), grandchildren Zachary (Alice) DiGuardi, Bethany (Ethen Holsopple), Daphne(David Gallucci), Sascha DiGuardi, Samuel D. DiGuardi, Rick (Sara) DelSignore, Danny (Erica) DelSignore, Vicki (and fiancé Paul Reilly), and Samuel B. Salas, great grandchildren, Hayden and Riley Holsopple, Gianna and Angelo Gallucci, Isaiah, Avery, and Levi DiGuardi, and Kate E. DelSignore.

Betty was a graduate of Dale High School. She was an avid card player with her special friend Alberta Hartnett, and she enjoyed traveling with her husband and taking pictures.  She was a former volunteer at St. Clement School Office and former choir member at the Church.  Betty was young at heart, and her family was her life, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Friends will be received 4-8pm Tuesday Jan. 3, 2012 at the Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd., Johnstown.  She was a member of St. Clement Church where Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday Jan. 4, 2012 , Rev. William E. Rosenbaum.  Interment Grandview Cemetery.
