Ellen J. Sedlmeyer

Sedlmeyer, Ellen J. 76, of Daisytown, died February 14, 2012, at home.

Born on December 26, 1935, in Johnstown. Daughter of George and Margaret (Shaffer) McGuire.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Leo D. and twelve brothers and sisters.  Survived by sons; Leo R. married to Kara (Tiell), Madison, Wisconsin; Rodger A. married to Tami (Glavach), Washington Court House, Ohio; Alan L. Johnstown; grandchildren, Derek, Bradley, Blaize and Zachary Sedlmeyer, Brandon L., Tara E. and Tesa D. Frasure; and 4 great-grandchildren.  Last surviving member of her immediate family.

She was a retired from Bestform Co., and a member of Cover Hill Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved to cook and bake for her family, and an avid Steeler's fan.  She will be sadly missed but never forgotten from all who knew and loved her.

At the request of the family there will be no viewing.

Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, 10 A.M. February 16, 2012 at Sts Gregory and Barnabas Catholic Church, Father Robert L. Ruston.  Entombment will be private.
